How to Apply Yahoo Application ID?

Check the details at HERE.

Is this against Yahoo's terms of service?

NO. It is not against Yahoo's terms of service. Yahoo allows people use the content as long as the "Powered by Yahoo! Answer" is shown on the web page. Yahoo's terms of service can be found from http://developer.yahoo.com/terms . For Yahoo Answer, there is an "Additional Terms of Service": For reasons we hope are obvious, all Web sites and applications that present data from the Yahoo! Answers API must show the attribution "Powered by Yahoo! Answers". While it's not strictly necessary, we'd consider it a personal favor if you linked the attribution back to the main Answers site, at answers.yahoo.com, so your readers can see what all the fuss is about.

What are the good choices for Fetching Time and Posting Time?

Fetching Time decides how often Forum Post Robot fetches from Yahoo Answer and Posting Time decideds how often Forum Post Robot post messages to the forum. The actual time to fetch and post changes randomly. For a 'warm' keyword the default settings are good choice. The default value for Fecthing is 120 minutes and for posting is 10 minutes. Users can change these settings based on how popular the keyword is.

Are these forum posters are real posters? Can I take them as the opt-in posters in my forum?

They are real posters. They post messages on Yahoo Answer and Forum Post Robot converts the messages and post to your forum. However, Forum Post Robot does not collect their emails. The emails that are associated with these posters in your fourm is created by the software. You can/should not send emails to them as the regular users of your forum.

Forum Post Robot, by default, 'HostName Lookup' is enabled. On some servers, it could be very slow. Check more details at HERE.

Why Forum Post Robot is running slow on my machine?

If there are too many ads on the pages of your forum, Forum Post Robot may run slowly. One possible solution could be found at HERE.

It seems everything is set correctly, but it still does not post anything?

One common mistake is the keywords used. The query keyword should be a common keyword. 1) If it is a rare used keyword, very possible that there is no message about that keyword available. 2) The query result includes all the individual words in the long-tail keyword. For example, users can use Forum Post Robot as the keyword, the query result will include Forum, Post, and Robot. If users want the results include Forum, Post, or Robot, then should use 3 seperated profiles which use each word as the keyword. Another example and tips for using good keywords are shown in help file at HERE.

If you are using a mod version forum script, Forum Post Robot may have problems to post to the forum correctly. Please contact support by email (at the bottom of this page).

Should I keep it running? What will happen if I stop the program?

Basically, Forum Post Robot should be kept running. So that, the messages/threads are shown as naturally added. But you don't have to keep it running. Whenever you restart the robot, it will continue from the last stop.
